With this in mind the garden design included an ‘evening terrace’ further down the garden, backing onto a new water feature. The stunning Yorkstone-clad water feature now brings the sound of moving water to this tranquil space. The far end of the garden, which originally contained an old climbing frame, was set aside to AstroTurf to allow space for ball games and a trampoline.
Structure in the form of small trees including Amelanchiers and Crab Apples lends height, spring floral interest and Autumn colour to the garden, whilst pleached Hornbeams help to provide privacy and softening. Finally, blocks of Yew hedging lend bold evergreen structure in Winter.
